i was refereeing a match last week in which i awarded a free ball. the player potted the nominated ball the green but at the same time potted the remaining red . Does anyone know the correct decision ?

its why the highest score in one shot at snooker is 16, 1 each for the reds plus 1 for the nominated ball. Theoretical of course - I believe the highest number of reds sunk in one shot is 7 - Have seen 4 in my time.....like pinball.
