About 10 years ago I bought a new 3 piece suite from Furniture Village. It's now had it and I have ordered a new one. The company I'm buying if off don't take your old one so I thought I would donate it to a charity shop. The things is that they won't take furniture without fire labels and I must have stupidly taken them off. I'm sure it will conform to standards as it's only 10 years old. I would rather someone else have use of it rather than take it to the tip.

Any ideas what I can do?

Freecycle?

Or put it out the front and let someone nick it :-)
Try Freecycle/Freegle. It'd a website for donating/requesting stuff, the only stipulation is no money changes hands and the 'buyer' collects.
I had the same when I offered my old 3 piece suite to charity meglet. I rang up the place where I bought it from and they actually sent me a label. I did'nt think they would have been able to go back as far as 14 years but they did. You could try doing the same?
If you want someone to pinch it make sure you put a for sale sign on it, if you put a free to collector sign up it'll never go.

I had a look on Freecycle (hadn't heard of Freegle) and may do that. I will try and see if Furniture Village will give me a label as I'm sure I could probably still dig out the receipt.
