I have been given a Dr Harvey apple tree as a cooker, but now someone has told me it is an eating apple, or maybe it is both, does anyone out there know please?

thanks alexi, that is certainly clear enough.
I have a Dr Harvey in my Norfolk garden and I can resoundingly say it's both! A delicious apple that freezes very well (and which keeps its shape rather than going to a mush when cooked - particularly from frozen). Lovely as a dessert apple when good and ripe - but not TOO ripe - just as it turns from green to pale yellow. Lastly, it makes fantastic juice!
