Is it safe to take tablets with an out of date use by date ? The tablets are Buccastem with a date for March 2008, which were prescribed for vertigo.

Please do not take out of date medicines - like most manufactured products they have a shelf life, this should be shown on the box.

PS always dispose of via return to pharmacy - not down the loo or in the bin.
