I have a TV which receives Free-Sat through my dish, is there any way that I can record these channels onto my DVD recorders hard disk?

At the moment it will only let me record digital TV channels, via my aerial.

Not really, TV's don't normally have a output on them.

the only real way would probably be to buy a cheap freesat receiver box (about £40) and plug it into the DVD recorder and then run another length of coax from the dish to the new receiver (you might have to upgrade the LNB on the dish to one with more outputs too)

this would give you the benefit of being able to record one channel while watching another though. (the downside is you'll end up with loads of different boxes and remotes)
