I have 2 Aylesbury ducks, 3 years old, ever since they were around 7 months old, they're beaks have been spotted brown, gradually getting worse as they get older, they are almost covered brown, with no original coloured beak left, I have been to the vets 3 or 4 times, and they give me antibiotics for them to swallow with no effect. They are healthy apart from this. They eat well, and have plenty of land to run about on with no other animal's around to interfere with them.

Does anyone know what causes the brown spotting on they're beaks? Thanking you in advance, Vikki

Ask someone who raises these kinds of ducks, the breeder you got them from. Or find another breeder if they aren't available, like http://www.obanfarmpark.co.uk/ email them. I know nothing about ducks but since no one else has answered your question I figured I would get you started on finding your own answers. Good Luck.
