I recently had my laptop "cleaned up" Now, whenever I start up, I get a message saying the computer is in use and is locked. The rest of the window shows "administrator" as the user and asks for a password. All I have to do is click on continue (or whatever) and i go to my desktop. Not serious but annoying. It never used to do that.

Anyone know of any way I can get rid of that please?

The person who did the "cleanup" is away overseas!!!

Many thanks in anticipation

Go to your sceen saver settings and uncheck the box "On resume, password protect"
Just realised that you said "On startup". Clearly you are not actually shutting down, but sleeping or hibernating.
Which version of Windows are you on?

Plus do not have/use current screensaver and password resume box is not ticked
When this happened on my laptop I had to take it back to the repairers and they unlocked it from the Admin bit!
