You probably can't (and sending people really large files by email is a good way to annoy people)

upload it either a file share site...
https://www.yousendit.com/

or a video sharing site, somewhere like youtube or fliker and send them a link to the uploaded file.

I think it is much easier to upload it to a file sharing site like megaupload.com and sending the download link via email.

Use Dropbox.com .. Then just email a link to the folder to the intended recipient instead.
