I would like to witness an adult seeing for the first time ever, like switching on sight, never had sight before and then to see what we see, would it be exciting, frightening, confusing, would they even regret being able to see?

if you have never had sight can you see anything in your imagination, what is imagination without the minds eye?

Your desire is possible, if extremely unlikely. Mine is impossible (and there are plenty of others); be there after an operation to restore Beethoven`s hearing and give him a new, modern piano. Cure Mozart and give him a saxophone. Two answers just to confirm I`m barmy.
I would enjoy witnessing any beauty of nature, RATTER. Back in the early 70's I remember watching a calf being born in a field near Spean Bridge in the Highlands. We parked up for 2 hours watching it unsteadily get to its feet and the attention its mother gave it. The farmer joined us as we leant on the fence. It was the most serene and beautiful sight and one which I recall often.

ttfn, sometimes the most natural everyday occurrences can also be the most amazing moments.
The big bang, to have been here when dinosaurs ruled the earth and the asteroid that supposedly spelt the end of the dinosaurs or I once saw a program called space a journey through time or something like that and they showed two solar systems crashing together, that would've been an experience and a half, thousands or millions of stars and suns crashing together. What an unbelievable sight that must've been.
I know someone who gained sight at the age of 18. He said the funniest things were noses (he said they all looked huge) and umbrellas
I would like to see my brother back to who he once was & not dependant on drink.
I would like to have my hubby's sight restored, he is now totally blind thru diabetes, he has had many eye operations inc two vatrectomys, we have been to Texas & Russia to try and help him regain even a little sight but to no avail.
That is a such a shame, Dee, but at least you explored every avenue.
RATTER, I am surprised you had so few answers to a good op, but it happens in the weekend melee of euphoric posting :(

I was present at the birth of my two children, and it's the most wonderful experience. Holding a sticky little bundle of new life...
