Toolbars disappeared

All the little icons across the bar below my google toolbar have gone and my google toolbar has also gone. I used the icons quite a lot ie the little house to go back to my hompage. I dont know what I have done but have been having problems and I may have messed things up. When I tried to reinstall google toolbar it failed as it said I needed firefox and when I tried to install it said something was corrupt. Hope someone can help. Thank you

have you got= file edit view favourites tools etc under address bar ....if yes just click on view then toolbars..... tick each one you need should all be there
