Little white car with a big camera on top.....

Just driving through a small town I saw a small car - think a smart car - with a large black camera on top, driving along in the traffic. There was a logo on the door of a simple camera - like a clip art camera but big - no wording. The passenger was a largish chap in white shirt with black epaulettes, s could be a policeman. anyone any idea what this was all about?

any wonder cops are losing jobs with this technology. OOOrder !!

back in't day they have spotted parking offence by walking or cycling through the town and suburbs. This tiny car had two big sweaty blokes crammed in it who might have benefitted more from the cycling.
