Apparently viewers took exception to her anti Vietnam stance and she is furious - she was selling her book.
Given that she supported the Vietcong when US soldiers were still fighting over there they have a point.
Also she talked thousands of women into buying her fitness video saying it would make them look as good as she did whilst all the time she was having plastic surgery to most parts of her body (not the only only one to lie about this though). No wonder QVC dropped her!

what the hell??!!! That was 40 years ago, even her Dad forgave her in the last years of his life, small minded small time america,
The anitwrinkle creams and Botox sales were seriously down.
It might have been forty years ago, but people have long memories and the Americans tend to be very patriotic especially since 9/11.She supported the enemy of her country in a time of war and people who lost family and friends will never forget or forgive.
She had a pretty good career post Vietnam, so I hardly think the Yanks took against her.
Ahem! Patriotic with long memories? Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Hitachi, Sony, Mercedes Benz etc versus Ford, GM, RCA, General Electric etc. And now buying everything that communist China can supply?
Puhleez.
I thought she was doing ok ("I'm 69 you know"), and then we are told that the L'oreal Revitalift works better when you have a face full of Botox as well. She's an attractive woman for her age, but a cheating American woman.
"Fonda was dubbed "Hanoi Jane" nearly 40 years ago after visiting the North Vietnamese capital, where she made radio broadcasts critical of U.S. war policy. While there, she was photographed sitting on an anti-aircraft gun laughing and clapping."

she made a massive apologies afterwards but is still very much anti-war and has publicly denounced all current engagements. in 2005 a man (viet vet) queued for 90 minutes at a fonda book signing. when he got to the front, he spat tobacco juice at her. so sentiment hasn't really passed over the years.
some people have long memories, though never did subscribe to the do the burn video, burn out more like, and it would be a rare person who looked that good, at least on tv who hasn't had work done
So she has probably condemned Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya.

Make her President! At least someone talks sense.
