too soon to tell what will be the must have toy... probably better to stock up on chunky crayons, colour paper and kiddy art stuff, simple matching games and picture/story books and leave the big prezzie til last minute although pop up play tents are always fun as are those kitchen cart things
Hi Leanne, I've got 2 Granddaughters aged 3 nearly 4 and at the moment theyre loving those small Barbie type dolls wth lots of different outfits to dress them in. Funnily enough their mums (my daughters) wanted the same things at that age. They love playing with the Barbie doll, clothes and furniture that I kept since their mums were that age. Prob not enough as a main present, but I would defo add those to the list
Can't believe you're thnking about Christmas in July! What a depressing thought.

i'm usually half done by now, getting worried im leaving it a bit late as off on holiday in sept, it will fly by! i got her a big wooden dolls house with all the furniture and people for xmas last year its stuck in her bedroom, she hasnt played with it once. I've put a few bits away on lay by at local toy store but i'm really stuck as to what else to get her, shes got a comp, bike, scooter, loads of dolls, prams and kitchen etc.... not sure whether to get her a nintendo ds or a tv for her bedroom but think she may be too young?
in fairness leanne, you know your daughter best, she also seems to have a lot of "stuff" some of which isnt played with, I would aim at things that you think she may like instead of the latest gadget, in anycase at 3 I think she may be a bit young for a tv in her room.

she will not even sleep in her own bedroom so it may be a waste, i need something which will encourage her to sleep on her own.
If she has everything and things she doesn't even play with, how about opening a savings account for her instead? Just giving her a small toy or item of clothing to open on the day.
get her a new bed, wall transfers, fairy lights etc and do her room up as she would want it. then just get her little things for a gift
Must just say that IMO thinking about Christmas at this time of year absolutely spoils the spirit of it and I often feel that all it is, is one huge commercial rip off and with people buying so early is endorsing that. What a shame, Christmas used to start beginning of December and people seemed to enjoy it more then rather than find it a chore like a lot do now.

red, i've already done her a bedroom, disney princess with a gorg new bed etc she still will only sleep with me. going to try again in 6 weeks holidays, shes getting too old for it now

i love xmas i ust a worrier and hate leaving stuff to last min, last year while everyone was worried about all the snow and not being able to get out i was all relaxed, like getting all the presents etc so when it comes to december i can spent time with my daughter and family doing fun stuff like baking, decorating the house and crafts and stuff as i really detest shopping,
I like to plan ahead too, leanne - I've got someone's birthday present already and her birthday's not until January.
