Hi Cath, is this a NHS Question? if so I can quote what it states in Essential learning handbook.
Hi again Grandmacath

I know a bit about employment law but I'm not sure about the exact legislation in regard to public bodies. I guess by this they're refering to our rights to health care, council services education etc.

Here's a link to an Easy Read version of the Equality Act if its of any help. The whole Act is a minefield!
