My son is on my insurance and has been offered a take away delivery job using our own car. What is the situation with insurance?

you will need business cover and they will also need to know that it is not for the main driver.

Who will be liable, if we don't do anything about insurance, myself or the driver?
both, he will be classed as driving without insurance and you because its your car
your car, i presume you would be liable for not ensuring it was correctly insured. If anyone was injured by the car on one of these deliveries then they may be no limit to what youd be liable for.
Don't do it......I watched it recently on one of the police programms....they took the car.
