Behaviour of Flies

My husband wants to know why flies always fly round and round light fittings, even when they are not switched on, never deviate, just keep going round - very annoying things!

i don't know, but they are blasted nuisance.

there were flies in our bedroom the other night when it was hot and I got bitten by a mozzie, not wanting to spray the bedroom at night and aggreviate Mr S's asthma I bought some good old fashioned fly papers at Aldi, got in a right sticky mess trying to put one up and keep it out straight and last night not a fly in sight.
