Stop trying to be strong for everyone else for a minute and do what you need to do for you. If that means you want to scream and cry then let it out. It's all very well looking after others, but who is looking after you? I'm sorry for your loss x
My commserations to you!

I 'lost' my grandad when I was 17, so I kind of know how you feel. If you want to cry, go ahead, no-one'll think any the less of you. Please don't stop talking about your Granddad, but take every opportunity to celebrate his life and achievements, like the wonderful children and grandchildren that he has. Wear your tears with pride.

I am now 53, and a favoured aunt has also just passed away, so I'm feeling a huge sense of loss too.

They say time is a healer, but I think that the pain doesn't diminish over time, we just learn how to handle it.
just picked up on this post - so sorry to hear you lost your granddad - it's the pits isn't it? - have a good cry when you feel like it, talk about him and soon you'll be laughing when you remember the funny things he did. It will get better, I promise. xC
Keeping it all in will just mount the pressure. Cry, talk, laugh - it is part of grieving. Take it from me - it is better to grieve with the family when love and support is all around you. My condolences.
You can cry and still be strong in support - your tears are a tribute to a fine grandfather.
