Hi, we had a power cut earlier and my cooker which is a hotpoint EW 81G has a digial clock on the front that you have to reset to get the oven to work, The buttons have broken due to age and wear, I have looked on the internet for prices for a new one and they are over a £100.00, Can anyone tell me that if i get an engineer out to fix it can you by pass the timer, so that the oven will work independantly without the clock, I just dont want to waste my money on call out as well as then having to fork out on a new one.
Many thanks

just turn it back on at 12:00 and then leave it on .. the time will then be correct without needing buttons to reset it.
