I concur! That was superb. It was fairly predictable where some of the sub plots would end up but others not so and what a jaw-dropping gob smacking finale!
Hope it gets showered with Bafta's etc as they'll be thoroughly deserved.
It must have been the marmite effect, either you loved it or you hated it. Unfortunately I gave up early on too - I found it very muddled and overly co-incidental.
Each to their own Maidup. I have to say it's the best programme I've seen on the BBC since The Thick Of It, even though that's a satire as opposed to the drama/thriller that was the Shadow Line.
I'm pleased you enjoyed it, maybe I'll give it another go once its on DVD. Its sometimes easier to get into something when you can watch it in longer chunks.
