If you knew you were going to die imminently, what would you regret more - what you have done (and shouldn't have) or what you haven't done (and should have).

Ed, who said you were getting away with it ? Your imminent end may be down to you staring at the noose in front of you.
def what I didn't do...if death was imminent I would only see the way I've wasted opportunities and talents and that as a result i would be forgotten

what i haven;t done
There are many things that I wish I had done differently as the mistakes of the past are affecting me today. They cannot be undone so I just get on with things.
With you there redman41.

In an ideal world, mistakes could be erased, but this life, not 'EastEnders' and a quick trip to Spain doesn't really cut it.
I am going back outside in the sunshine to garden.

I come on AB whilst I have a cuppa (or two) and not only am I asked whether I would rather lose my mind or body in old age, I now have to consider imminent death.

I have to go to the doctors this afternoon for some test results!! Should I bother.

;o(
When my mother was dying she said it was like leaving the cinema before the end of the film and she regretted not having more time to do the things she hadn't been able to do in her life.
You will be fine Lottie ! Many Years of pottering about in your lovely garden left !!

Sorry lotts - I have posted lots of cheerful things today as well.....! This wasn't actually meant to be morbid.

Good luck with the results x
Thanks Redman.

I am so phobic about medical appointments of any sort. I always think the worse!!
