Why do our noses (as oppose to any other feature on our faces) grease up every so often ?

Is there something in the market that can reduce or prevent this ?

Grease up on which part of your nose? My nose is no more greasy than anywhere else....

I mean the skin of the nose getting oily for no real reason. Why does happen to us ? Can it be prevented ?
Neutrogena are apparently good for greasy skin problems
Nope, it can't be prevented.

This will sound naff but it works - Rizla cigarette papers are brilliant at blotting up greasy skin and only cost pennies

I suppose its just hankies at the ready each time..
On a plus note - the oilier your skin, the less wrinkles you will get
Is it because ther's a higher proportion of pores in the nose area? anyone recall pushing out the 'white worms' as a teenager! Neutrogena does rank well I think for off the shelf products dealing with greasy skin.
The skin is incredibly thin in the nose area, directly on the bone with very little flesh to pad it out.
The nose is the most prominent part of the face and is the first to be affected by weather - sun, wind and rain.
Many people have a greasy T Zone - forehead, nose and chin. All much bonier than the cheeks.
I don't remember finding white worms up my nose!
well that's what I 'perceived' them as dosamigos.
There is a fantastic product that my Japanese friends use; little sheets of rice paper to blot up the grease. I expect you can buy it online.
