OK I've looked at your site.Don't understand what you are trying to achieve. Please explain. One suggestion; a spellcheck would make an improvement.

Sorry i meant to put that in, my site is just a general place where people can sign a guestbook and my forum now, but also as i am a student i have a list of linkes to sites that my help other students too. cos' also i know that sometimes it can be alll work and no play!! and also i am going to doo a page later on on hobbies and interests. you see i have only started this site about a year ago and i am still learning. i also wanted to add a piece that my be relevant to, cerebal plasy. i have slight cerebal palsy and i am doing thiis for my own acheivements. i have not got the money to buy a proper site or advertising therefore this is why i posted the question.

i can spell but i type fast and i don't look back over what i have written, thankyou for your comment, i will start the checking now!
Like Mikewall01, I am still not sure what your site is about, so you need to change the general appearance to catch the attention of the visitor who may be interested in whatever you want to achieve. If the vast majority of hits are on the homepage and very few on child pages, you'll know that people do not stay on the site and disappear to look for something else. I presume you have submitted the site to all the usual avenues. To help get visitors to your site, consider changing the name to coincide with the general purpose of the site; you have to think like a visitor who doesn't know about you. If Answerbank was called 'Nutter's Corner' there would not be much new traffic here except for where a search engine ' usually Google ' would pick up on the content of a question similar to the browser's request. My site is about Galahs which has a limited interest, so I included it in the site's name and now anyone typing galahs in Google will get my site as top billing (at least in australasia). Also, include the name in the first line of text on the index page.

In my unqualified amateur's opinion may I suggest that you drop all the information on how often and how you updated the site. I know that you've probably spent countless hours working on the site but that doesn't interest visitors. They only want to know what date you last updated it.
If you plan to add information on Cerebral Palsy make it a separate page. Perhaps you could call that www.geocities.com/style4smile/cerebralpalsy/ so it will generate search engine interest on it's own.
The reason for respectable spelling on a site is that, with obvious clangers, it would appear to visitors as if the site is of very low quality and it diminishes the interest. There are some website-experts among the AB regulars who hopefully will contribute some more info.

I kniow that you can add your site to directories by going to sites like "need more hits" and "add me"
Having had a very quick look, your biggest issues are:

Aesthetics - it's painful to look at
Spelling - users shouldn't have to decipher your content
URL - a 10 investment in a domain name makes all the difference
Keywords - good use of keywords and content will make the most powerful search engines do all the work for you
Layout - As has been said, if you hadn't said so, I'd have NO idea what it was all about. Text overlaps, there's no considerations for browser type or screen size and there's no order to the content.
sez b, I found your site to be cute and charming. I like the ameture [sp] look of it. The spelling isn't so important on a fun site. The background, which i copied, is star quality, I like the info about how you developed the site. You got plenty more to do [no rush] and the potential is wide open - it's good. I hope your 'odd' section will get to have some groovy stuff on it. I know you didn't ask for reviews but you got one. Top site 'for my tastes'. (Apart from that word 'sh1te' but hey its your site do what you want.. seems out of character though) To woodPam ok for a stereotype you probably right and that would get more hits to appeal to the masses, but i like it how it is :-)
to lisaj; soz to disagree but i love the colours, fab inordinate fun site. Nice hit counter and daily poll, your site is going to blossom, i can tell your having fun making it :-)
offer them somthing free like news or computer cheats something cool
For a start I'd get a domain name and learn some proper html. Some good advice on html is available at www.w3schools.com. But if you do that don't be tempted to add hundreds of javascripts. Any search engine with any sense these days doesn't accept geocities sites because there are millions of them and most are no use to man nor beast (this isn't a critism of your site which I think is good although a bit striking and bold, but other geocities sites tend to be completely rubbish). If you go to search engines like lycos.com they usually have a page where you can type in your url for free and they will add it, but it takes a few weeks. You can also get software that will mass-submit your site to hundreds of search engines at once, but they cost from 15 upwards unless you use a fileshare program.
I've been to sezs web site and it is about all soughts really including a funny pic its hidden you have to find it i have a web site as well and is allso about allsoughts.
