What is this Uniform

Can anyone identify the groom and best man's uniform please. They have berets on their shoulders but I can't see the badge.

I think this is what I originally thought it was. This is a group of hospitalised soldiers from WW1 in their "uniform". The one sitting on the left of the picture was my Grand-dad although he died 2 years before I was born. He was a runner in the Royal Worcestershires and had the Commander in Chief's commendation for bravery under attack from the enemy and for lack of regard for his own safety ensuring the messages got through every time. That was at Paschendaele. I have the paper. He was gassed and lost most of his foot. Notice that he's sharing a pair of slippers with the other soldier who has lost the opposite foot. If it wasn't so tragic it would be funny. Thank you again.
