i'm working on a relatively small spreadsheet at the moment (unlike http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/Technology/Comp uters/Question710313.html) in Excel 2003, and suddenly it seems to have developed a fault whereby everytime I right click on the sheet it completely freezes and closes itself down.

Any suggestions? I've tried turning it on and off again!

Have you got the original Excel (or Microsoft Office) installation disk? If so, put it in your drive and select the 'Repair' option.

I think I've got the disk at my husband's office, i'll give it a try tomorrow and let you know if it worked, thanks :)
Alternatively, install OpenOffice and work on the spreadsheet in Calc, rather than Excel. (Unless you're using some incredibly complex formulas, the programs are fully compatible):
