Not got one but Kodak make a point of being the cheapest cartridge wise.
I've got a kodak wireless printer and it is very good. Not printed loads of pictures so can't comment on consumption I'm afraid. But b & w cartridges are £6.99 and colour cartridges are £12.99. Easy to change as well.
I have a Kodak ESP5 & it prints well but it uses the ink quicker than my old Lexmark printer. It is incredibly noisy too when it starts up. Ink cartridges for it are quite cheap & the print quality is good
I have HP printers. One for documents and a smaller one for 6x4 photographs. Inks are expensive unless one purchases re-cycled cartridges, as I do 'on line' from Printerinks.

My advice is to buy a single one that is suitable for both reproducing documents and standard sized photographs.

I have checked the details for the Kodak ESP5 and feel it could meet your requirements.

Most modern printers are good on quality reproduction but it is often the case that the cheaper the purchase price the more expensive it is to run, with expensive ink cartridges being necessary thereafter.( It's a sprat to catch a mackeral!!)

Ron.
good advice Ron, as usual.
