I am looking for the name of a film, possibly made in the 80's it's a war/anti-war film about Vietnam, or Korea that has an aircraft bombing raid set to the piece of clasical music - Pachelbel's Canon in D. Google has not been my friend on this, so hopefully there is some film buff out there who knows.
I can remember this music being in an Australian mini series with a very young Nicole Kidman called 'Vietnam'! I had never heard this music before and I just loved it. I said I would have it at my wedding, and I am!
From looking at the IMDB list of films featuring Pachelbel's Canon in D, the only war related film I can see is "For The Moment" from 1993, starrring Russell Crowe.
