What was the name of the late 90s channel 4 contemporay dance and arts program that used to air in the early hours? It had a black presenter.

Cancer. I didn't even know she was ill. Out of all the doctor's assistants when I was growing up, she was my favourite. She looked fantastic for her age in Sarah-Jane Adventures. I'm glad she had a good telly comeback before she died.

I didn't even know she was ill. I really liked her show and her appearances in Dr Who.

She was my favourite too. I even enjoyed the Sarah Jane Adventures - they don't make heroines like that anymore!

Steven Moffat (head writer for Dr Who) said that she was his favourite assistant when he was a child. He also said that everything he loved about Sarah-Jane Smith, he also loved about Elisabeth Sladen. He said she was kind, caring, gentle, cheeky and funny.
