I am a UK citizen and resident. My father is a US citizen and re4sident. When he dies i am due to inherit around $150,000 after US Estate taxes. Will i have to pay UK tax on that money? .

You need to speak to HMRC to ascertain whether any UK Inheritance tax would be due on the disbursement of a US estate.
As long as your father had no estate in the UK then anything you receive from the US is outside the remit of UK inheritance tax - or any other UK tax, apart from on the interest once you invest it.
