I am after an original gift for my 'hubby to be' for our forthcoming wedding. He doesnt wear a watch and doesnt really wear any jewellery as such except cufflinks. I have over the years bought him quite a few pairs of cufflinks for birthdays and valentines day so wanted something a bit extra special as my wedding present to him.
Any ideas welcome. He is early 30's.
Thanks

How about giving him a voucher for a weekend break somewhere special?
It is nice to have something to look forward to after all the excitement of the wedding and honeymoon have died down. You could go to Paris, or the place where you first met, or somewhere local but fancy eg a local castle?
You could buy him a hospitality trip to watch Man Utd its a wonderful treat costing around £100 pounds
This present will cost you nothing. Promise him that you will never call him "hubby". A man in his early 30s does not want that nickname.
Are any of these ideas any good Chasingcars?

Hi Shivvy, yes liking the weekend voucher idea, had thought of something similar - eg baloon flight or similar as he said he always wanted to do one. But then i was thinking should it be something more traditional htat he could keep?
He is not that much into football otherwise stadium tour would be a great gift.
The hubby suggestion made me laugh :)
Hi Chasingcars,

How about getting something engraved eg tankard, cufflinks, keyring etc? I have used this company before and was pleased.

Or have a few nice words engraved on the inside of his wedding ring?

Of course you could always suprise him with a tattoo if you or he are so inclined!!

Best of luck,

Shivvy

The engraving is being done in a like a type writer font style engraving, so really pleased and thought I would share with you all!
Excellent - really great gift Chasingcars. It is totally unique and it sounds like he will love it.
