As a child I was fascinated by my mother's autograph book. She obviously new some talented folk. The one I will never forget was of a young coloured child, tucked up in his bed with a startled reflection on his face, illuminated only by a small candle flame.

The inscription was,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, 'Keep dark and say nuffink'

Excellent advice to pass on to the remaining ABers, thanks Mum ♥

Sweet dreams and ttfn.

Awwww thanks Chris, that brought tears to my eyes I met her when she ran against the Epsom and Ewell Harriers at my local park. She was such a lovely person who spent a lot of time signing autographs and talking to us kids.

It's nice to know that I wasn't the only one with weird parents, Carandrog ;-)
When I was a teenager (How many years ago) I used to haunt the theatres of Manchester especially The Apollo, they had good Rock and Roll shows, after the show it was round to the stage door. I had lots of autographs. Adam Faith, Eddy Cochrane, Gene Vincent, Cliff, John Barry, and lots more. Does anyone remember Little Tony I had his AND the towel he wiped his makeup of with as we were let into the dressing room. Oh happy days.

Evening Elsie - I hope OH is back into routine now.
Morning ttfn, Oh yes, presented me with 2 large bags of washing which turned into 3 washer loads, allowed weekend to come to. Today I gave him his jobs list. This had 7 items on it. He has done 2 so far, which isn't bad as he is still sorting the van out, just realised he hasn't emptied the loo (OMG). Had to remove the cycle rack off the back of the van as he reversed into a wall and crumpled it, got to try and straighten the bars out sometime..Got to get the front bumper repaired where he rolled into a wall also. Never mind nice to have hime back.
