Hand a Vesta Chow Mein last night which has soft noodles that go in the sauce and other noodles that are fried and are then crispy. Is it possible to buy packets of the noodles that are for frying to make them crispy. Looked in Tesco today but could not find anything for crispy noodles only the soft sort.
many thanks

Do you have a Chinese wholesaler or cash & carry near you? They may do them.

I imagine you could buy those Amoy straight to wok noodles and fry them.

Thanks pastafreak for the link. I will try the noodles as suggested. i must admit the soft noodles and the crispy noodles before frying do look very much alike. Not a lot lost if it does not work. Will try a few to start with.
