Potterton Powermax HE Boiler

My new property has one of the above and no operating instructions - can anyone help? Does it work like a combi-boiler and give hot water on demand - what about setting timers? Can I leave the boiler heating setting on permanently and then control the on/off with the wall thermostat??

Great answers - but the manuals here seems to give installation and servicing details - I need to know how to programme the timers and use it in a domestic setting please?

Finally, and being a complete technical duffer - can anyone tell me ..... in order to, say, have a bath, does the hot water need to have been on for a period of time like in an immersion heater, or does this boiler give hot water on demand?
