how do i password protect a zip file??

I know it can be done, i have done it before, just forgotten. :-\

while you are creating the zip, press the password button - as simple as that! (if you are using version 8 or above as I am...)

......with WinXP.....open the folder then click on "file" and select "add a password" from the list......commoner
