I don't have to be in sixth form this morning, but I have to go in to do maths this afternoon, then it's the start of the holidays, how many of you wold have rather gone in this morning and have this after noon off, as an early start to the holiday?

PS it's because my chemistry teacher is a deputy head and is interviewing candidates for the head teacher job so gave us our work for this week and the holidays last lesson.

I would have preferred it in the morning.

The break or the lesson?

The lesson.
Make the best of your school days, and enjoy them, Molly.
you dont need to be in but isnt it still classed as "study" time? the holidays dont start end of school day today

Of course, if this sort of timing applied to my working hours then yes Id prefer it the other way.
Gimme the lie in any day!!

Yes ''study time'' I've done maths homework and emailed some companies and unis about reliable mini gap year companies, and packed for London.
The thing is Molls, I think the interviewees are probably nervous so its best to get the interviews done first thing.
Where are going in London?

Staying with my auntie in Tower Hamlet or somewhere like that.
I'd take the early start/early finish. It's always nice going into work knowing you only have a few hours there. But to be honest with day I'm having, I'm thinking about setting fire to the office when I leave so I don't have to come back after the weekend.
That's interesting interviewing people who will be your boss - how very modern
is true, i'm very flexible

AARRRGGGHHHH one of my maths teachers was going to start calculus with us, but decided against it when she saw the look on my face . . .

Plus i found out a lot about my godfathers wife who'll be working with my maths teacher starting from september, plus my godfathers nephew has one of the same teachers as me and i probably walk past him in the corridoor most days but don't realise who he is . . . plus in the second lesson with a different teacher (who did her teacher training with my godfathers wife) we had a couple of year nine come into our lesson because they'd shouted out the answers to a question when they should have put their hand up. They thought we were wierd for choosing to do maths and were bemused at this page of equations oru teacher gave us for the stats unit and didn't know what half the symbols meant.
