Fuji finepix HS10 pa lava....

Hello,
I bought a fuji finepix hs10 a while back and it's an awesome camera, love everything about it. A short while ago, i also bought accessories for it like fish eye lens, filters, telephoto etc. however, just today i found out that it doesn't have an audio jack....
now that i know that it doesn't have an audio jack, the camera has now gone from amazing to... it sucks.
Shame as it IS such an amazing camera (considering i got it to provide for all my college courses). I haven't got quite enough knowledge to be able to make confident decisions about what to do next but i THINK i kind of know what i'm going on about...

THE QUESTION:
Am i right in saying that because the lens accessories i bought are 58mm, that means that if i buy a different camera (with an audio jack haha) that has a 58mm lens, then all will be swell and i can have great sound along with the effects of different lens accessories?

p.s if this is true, does anyone know any camera's for examples?

The HS10 had an AV Out (albeit monaural sound in .wav format).

Not sure why you'd have expected quality audio facilities from what is essentially a superb stills camera.
