I LOVE COFFEE, but which of these shops do you prefer? Starbucks, Costa Coffee, Coffee Republic, Caffe Nero, AMT, Madisons, Pret a Manger or Benjys. Thanks!

Nero's they make a great expresso - and the collectors scheme, buy 9 coffee's get tenth free is always good.
I'm a Nero girl .  I love their large latte with vanilla.  Their cold coffee shake thing is really nice too.  The food is really expensive though, don't u think ietbees?
I've never had any of these - do I need to get out more? Don't bother, I already know the answer!
The problem with most people who say, "I love coffee" is that, often, they don't! What I mean is that they really ought to say, "I love coffee drinks". If you're drinking capuccino or latte, it probably doesn't matter which of the above (over-priced) outlets you go to - it's all a matter of personal preference. People who really love coffee look for places that offer a good range of beans (Colombian, Brazilian, Javan, whatever) and choose whatever suits their taste or their mood. Despite the growth of the chains listed above, it's still the small independent shops that frequently offer the best coffee (and often at far more reasonable prices).

Buenchico - that is totally true, but I was just keeping to the 'Fast Coffee Outlet' theme.  My fave coffee shop is a little tiny family run shop just by Victoria Station (London).  Mmmmm - coffee, need coffee......
Nero's food is over priced definately agree Piper-Ak. I too enjoy a small deli that hand roasts it's coffee beans, you can't look much further than jamican Blue Mountain for great coffee beans. Although i recently had "pawo" beans( not sure if this is a place or manufacturer) from peru and they were good! My favourite place is in Borough Market London - great coffee!
I like Starbucks the best even though they're the most expensive.  I find them the most reliable at making my drink right, which I can't really explain cos it's a totally individual thing, although I will say that heating and frothing soya milk correctly is a bit of an art and not all the others can do it.  The staff at the one near my tram stop know what I want as soon as I walk in!  But I agree that Nero's loyalty scheme is a great idea, I wish Starbucks had one.

At my local shopping centre, we only have a B-Bs.  It is very good though.  Quite similar to Starbucks.  A regular latte is 1-80.

i don't think you can beat a costa coffee latte
