sounds like he's panicking at the financial commitment. I remembering being a bit jittery and having 2nd thoughts when I first 'signed on the line' back in 1994. He needs reassurance more than anything.

I've only got another 20 years to go on mine :-)

Possibly I suppose china, sometimes I think he doesn't believe I love him.
But I try so incredibly hard to make it known that I do love him. He means the absolute world to me, and has done from the very moment we met. We have been through hell the past few years, and have done the absolute best to put behind us all our problems together.
These problems were mostly seperately and most before we got together.

I wouldn't blame him in the slightest booldawg, I'm pretty nervous myself at the whole mortgage thing, council tax, etc! I don't know how everyone does it!
But I'd wish he'd just say that.
Well that would be a seperate issue to mortgage worries although the mortgage thing could be a sort of smoke screen. Maybe have a little chat and just reassure yourself that the worry is only about the mortgage. As to making him feel secure, well you can't make someone feel that, you can demonstrate by your actions that they've no reason to feel insecure but feeling secure in yourself is not something someone else can do for you.

^^^^^^^ (snigger)
why does that not suprise me!
Get yourself along to your nearest crematorium, then see how down in the dumps you feel?

I don't do it myself, but if might work for you?

I just feel so impossibly overwhelmed right now.
I just got back some university work (online grades) and did badly in it. I'm meant to be this scholarship student and everyone says 'oh, she knows all the answers'
And I don't, I just want to give up.
I feel like a complete failure.
ChocoChips. I remember you and your problems from a couple years back. I think you are creating problems in your mind. You need to stop doing this to yourself and pull yourself together, and think positive.
