I have my screensaver set to operate at 20mins, it doesn't click on, what happens is after about 10mins of inactivity the screen shuts down & I have to mouse click to open it up again. Could someone instruct how to adjust so that screen stays on longer. TIA Ron.

Sounds like you have a power mangement feature switched on that turns your monitor off. This is much better than having a screen saver.
You've also got your power saving set to shut down the screen after 10 minutes then...

You've not said what version of windows... so precise directions are a bit hard, but goto your screensaver settings aand you'll have a power options button, have a look in there and set the screen to not turn off when on AC power.
