Hi, blo.... in my experience you cant 'hack' pioneer dvd players. I've had three and been very happy with all of them, but they all needed opening up and 'chipping'. If you havn't already bought this system look online using something like kelkoo price comparison for good deals and pre chipped machines. If you already have it, its not a problem just google for dvd chippers and expect to pay a bit more.

Hi blo, Ive just done a search and found: www.multi-region.co.uk If your dvd is the DCS-313 they do a chipping service including p+p for �55 or better still they can supply a chipped remote to change the regions for �23.49. Hope this helps, good luck!
