Camera question.

here we go...xmas day and im asking for help !!! Bought my daughter a fujifilm z70 camera for xmas. it didn't come with a memory card so we used the one from the old camera (fulifilm card)

Anyway, we've deleted all the pics from the old card but despite fitting perfectly in the new camera, we keep getting the message "card not initialised" coming up.

The instructions are useless so i was wondering if any of you nice people know what i should do ?

It's asking you to format the card to this camera - follow the prompts and format ("initialise") it, it should be fine.

Note when you format a card EVERYT%HING is deleted off it.

I know you have deleted all the pics in this case, but just remember that for the future.
