My 15 yr old daughter has a friend/boyfriend who has been round a couple of times, very nice kid. He has just been round with expensive perfume for my daughter (she insisted on opening it after he went) and has given our younger kids boxes of chocs and me M&S biscuit boxes. I am so embarassed as my daughter only got him a £10 gift set. What to do??? I want to pop £20 in a card and drop it through his card tomorrow, any suggestions??

I would also feel bad IceQueen - but I think putting 20 quid in a card would have 'guilty of not buying a better present' written all over it.

Perhaps his parents won't notice, I am sure he will not, if he is smitten with your daughter.
