I am asking on behalf of my friend , her heater failed on her Tiger Oscars tank last night whilst she was at work . When she arrived home he was upside down flaoting so she presumed he died , but when she went to get him out he swam away ! He's now being re-warmed slowly and is floating on his side and looking livelier . Does he stand a chance of living ?

Probably. Don't feed it for 24 hours until its digestive system is working again properly.
