I've never had a bone in a Turkey crown.
naz you must have done...if not its just two breasts.
Well ok, 'saddle' of turkey but marketed as a crown, I suppose. :-))
Turkey isn't dry if you baste it and bard it with bacon... yummy.
I can't be doing with a turkey hanging around the place - it never fits in the fridge so we are having a turkey crown (although I ordered a 4kg one which sound a bit huge now - I was in a bit of a panic).
I am the cook (not Viv) and shall be serving 5 people with large plump Turkey Breast fillets which will be generously topped with a garlic and herb mix off cream cheese, each fillet being well wrapped with at least 2 slices of bacon.....prior to their being roasted. (Turkey wraps not the guests.....although I do sometimes feel like giving the family members a roasting.)

Far easier than having to slice a crown of hot turkey which soon goes cold.

Ron.
