I like marzipan too. I could eat that in large lumps.

What are you putting in the fryup Anne? Can you do a bit of bubble and squeak?
OMG ... Marzipan, I could eat that until it came out of my ears.
I bought some ready made to ice a cake once and ate it before I even got near the cake.
naz, i think you are mistaking marzipan for wax ? you do the bubble and squeak star, ill start on the sausages.
lol @ anne ... Oooh, not had bubble for ages, roll on Boxing Day.
Got some left over marzipan here Naz, I have finished the cakes, so it's going begging!......love it on the cake, but not on it's own!...................
And eggs and bacon and tomatoes and black pudding and mushrooms and fried bread. OMG no wonder I am so fat, it's you lot leading me on. Well, I have to blame somebody dont't I?
Welsh, are you uphill from here? Ball it up and give it a good roll.
Oh starbuck!.........don't............I'm not cooking now!.............well I may!...............lol......

Ooooh, I got a great recipe for leftover xmas pud today ... from a free Sainsbugs book.

White chocolate, eggs, flour, vanilla, caster sugar ... stir in the xmas pud ...

Christmas Pud Blondies ... looks lush
My dear mother used to make marzipan with ground almonds. Any left overs would be formed into brazil nut sizes and then rolled in cocoa - as children we thought it so sophisticated to eat these lovely sweets :o)
sounds lush Naz!........Will pick up that one for sure!...............
Starbuckone that sounds like my sort of breakfast. Just read that out to hubby too and he said ok, cafe in the morning it is.
Welsh, make a stollen for Christmas, put that lovely marzipan in the middle of it, yumm!

Having said that, I had a very nice bacon bagel for breakfast in Horley today, set me up for the day - there is nothing like getting to a meeting much too early, and just having to find a breakfast caff!
what no brandy to the sweeties ttfn? take care going home tomorrow,
Just posted it in recipes...
