anyone have a quick easy recipe for SWEET RED ONION MARMALADE.

i had it with pate for a starter last nite - does any of the big super markets sell it, or do u have any ideas who would sell it>

or you can easily make your own by gently softening some finely sliced red onions in butter or olive oil and then adding some brown sugar. just make sure you keep the heat low and stir it a lot, it's very easy.

i notice delia uses red wine vinegar and red wine in her recipe. i've made it with and without and both are nice.

Morrisons do one in their 'the best' range. I got after I'd had it with pate for a starter too, it does go really well
