When I am writing my family history books, as a bit of fun I google my family mottos.

What is yours? (Or if you don't want to give away your name, what would you like yours to be?)

Mine would be

Illegitimi non carborundum

I just google them Bobbi - there is no real "research" and it's just a bit of fun.

The House of Names says that the Wilson motto is "vincit qui se vincit"

He conquers who conquers himself.

The only one I could find-and it was a different spelling of my maiden name is "There is no difficulty to him who wills..."
I suppose that's like saying-'if I want something ,I'll get/do it"...oh,how I wish...lol
