2cm water in passenger footwell of my Alhambra

Hello to all


Can someone please tell me where to look to find leak or a way of testing for the leak , it is actually coming from beneath the carpet and rubber sound proofing no visible holes.

PS I have checked windsreen sills/rubbers and they seem quite good.

I had a Volvo years ago with a similar problem, water under the near-side carpet. Turned out to be the heater.
If you have a sunroof check to see if it is draining properly and not blocked as the drainage piping may well exit around the passenger footwell.  I had massive flooding in the passenger footwell of my Capri and it turned out that the sunroof drainage was the culprit!

it sounds like your heater matrix has sprung a leak

they are not that expensive but are very fiddely to replace
