Have any live creatures been released into space to see the effects of space on them? We have our theories on pressure, heat, cold and lack of oxygen but what is the reality if lets say we released a large mammal into space, what exactly would happen?

Micky ...

They are called "Nitric Boost"

The mgs says "3g" ... so I suppose that's 3.000 mgs ?

Now you're going to tell me I've wasted my money, aren't you !
releasing mammals into space gives a whole new meaning to the constellation of the Great Bear... The World Wildlife Fund would be on to you like a shot!

Never heard of the brand Nitric boost but there are many companies out there. The ones I use have Arginine Alpha-Ketoglutarate (AAKG) with Arginine Ethyl-Ester HCL (AEE) along with Ornithine Alpha-Ketoglutarate (OAKG) and cost £15.49 for 18 tablets and lasts on average 30 days if taken at 2 3 time a day.

Funny boxtops.
Naaa ...

The WWF are only interested in saving animals.

It's a bit late, once you've shot them into Space.
I suppose Chuck was suggesting that, since it's easier to create a vacuum on earth, scientists would do it here rather than going to the bother of building rockets for animals

Imagine the payload if you had a blooming great bear in the capsule....

Jno can we really achieve the same conditions as those of space or just what we think are the conditions of space?
Cripes, Micky ...

That's all very technical.

Bear in mind that all I know about A-AKG is what we discussed on that other thread ...

... and what I've read on the web, from companies trying to sell the stuff.

Apparently it might "boost my sexual performance" ... !!!

So that's something to look forward to! The BF WILL be chuffed.
Well, alternatively, boxy ...

Take up a LITTLE bear ... wait for it to grow up ... and then launch it out !

Quite right joggerjayne, thinking about it it is better to start off with just one substance and see how it works for you before adding others. Yes it does increase bloodflow to genital organs so good luck with the "Side effects"
"increase bloodflow to genital organs"

OMG !!

Well ... personally, I can't wait. LOL

it wouldn't be necessary to send the poor buggers into space to satisfy your curiosity. The americans have a vacuum chamber big enough to accomodate a london bus ( about 1 nanowales) so elephants wouldn't be a problem. It does take 2 days to evacuate it so the creature would probably die of oxygen lack before the gross effects of low pressure killed it.
