qi fact about black people in america

I'm sure this was a qi fact, from a couple of series ago, but i can't quite remember the details, can anyone enlighten me?

It was something about the number of black people, or a specific cohort of them, saying there were more of them in prison than working or in education or something . . .. ??????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Was it that there were more young black men in prison in the USA than in universities? You could look at that in two ways. Some people might say that it proves that black people were innately criminal. Others, that if the figure is true then racial discrimination is still thriving in the US.

Thanks, Jack. You are right of course, because that's what we all are. But going back to colour, I think mine is basically yellow with a tinge of pink here and there. Yeuch!

Plus if pale skinned people are 'white' and those of african decent are 'black' who come people who are half and half aren't called 'grey' . . . . . .
