Edwina Currie still owes me a drink, she left before her round. That's fairly rude and arrogant. Nicest is Ewan McGregor, a normal bloke who'll sit in the pub and chat with any who wants to chat.
My mum and dad (sorry, not me personally) met Martine 'can't spell her surname' - Tiffany from Eastenders. She was really friendly and chatted with that and had photos taken with them and really made their night (especially me Dad's!!)
As a music and culture writer, I've met hundreds of celebs - worst was Paul Weller, who was realy rude to me, and stalked off after ruefusing to answer any more than two questions. Nicest was Ronnie James Dio, former singer with Black Sabbath, Rainbow, and now Dio, who invited me to eat dinner with the band after our interview. He admired a badge I was wearing which said 'Back by public demand', so I gave it to him - seemed more appropriate that he wore it than me!
Rudest : Danni Minogue, nicest = Ronan Keating
rudest: Bette Davis, nicest, Paul Newman
Rudest: Sir Alex Ferguson or Bryan Ferry. Nicest: Maria McKee (she was famous when we met!) or Martin O'Neill. (At least these people were all good at their high-profile careers, not like today's wannabe "celebs" grumble grumble...
Rudest: Lisa Riley (I move in the most exclusive circles don't you know!) and Danni Minogue and Jaques Villeneuve were pretty obnoxious; Nicest: Noel Gallaghar.. he is god!

Thanks to all who have answered so far, keep 'em coming,

I'm sure we've all been peed off by some celeb sometime.

I remember going to see a match in London in the late 70s and being stuck in a traffic jam. Out of the coach window we spied "Young" Mr. Grace from TV's Are You Being Served being chauffeur-driven in a big posh car. As soon as he noticed us he promptly stuck two fingers up at us which was totally unexpected and had everyone in stitches!

Rudest: Alan Rickman, pulled the "don't you know who I am" routine. Also, Pamela Anderson. Nicest: Harvey Keitel
Bernard Manning did a show a local pub and was rude to everyone - goes with the territory I s'pose.
John Travolta - was the best cos he's the only proper celebrity I've met.. but what a brag eh?
